Diode
Diodes are discrete semiconductor devices that convert alternating current into direct current. They may be classified into:
- General purpose signal and switching diodes, which are rated less than 0.5 ampere;
- Zener diodes, which are used primarily to regulate load voltages against changes in input voltages and load currents;
- Transient protection diodes, devices which are used to protect vulnerable circuits from electrical overstress such as that caused by ESD, inductive load switching and induced lightning transients; and
- RF & microwave diodes, diodes designed specifically for RF or microwave applications.
We can build Diodes in a number of different packages including:
- SOT-23
- TO-92
- SOT-82
- TO-126 /SOT-32
- TO-251/ TO-252
- TO-220
- TO-220 Fullpack
- TO-263
