Diode

Diodes are discrete semiconductor devices that convert alternating current into direct current. They may be classified into:

  • General purpose signal and switching diodes, which are rated less than 0.5 ampere;
  • Zener diodes, which are used primarily to regulate load voltages against changes in input voltages and load currents;
  • Transient protection diodes, devices which are used to protect vulnerable circuits from electrical overstress such as that caused by ESD, inductive load switching and induced lightning transients; and
  • RF & microwave diodes, diodes designed specifically for RF or microwave applications.

We can build Diodes in a number of different packages including:

  • SOT-23
  • TO-92
  • SOT-82
  • TO-126 /SOT-32
  • TO-251/ TO-252
  • TO-220
  • TO-220 Fullpack
  • TO-263
  • Powermite TM
  • PowerQFN
