Metal Cans |
|
Metal cans are among the industry’s very first semiconductor packages. In a metal can, the silicon chip is attached to the header then wire bonded to the post of the leads or pins. The assembly is covered with a can and hermetically sealed through welding process. Because of the package’s reliability, it is still the preferred package for high reliability applications such as in military, automotive and communication.
We have the capability to assemble a wide range of metal can packages in various pin counts. |
