Plastic Dual-In-Line Packages (PDIP’s) are through-hole packages with peripheral leads on two parallel sides of the plastic package.  They are among the earliest of plastic encapsulated IC packages. Our PDIP packages are from 8 leads up to 64 leads and follow the JEDEC standard package outline dimensions. The standard assembly process for PDIP’s include epoxy die attach and gold wire bonding.
