At PSI Technologies we continue to innovate. We’ve leveraged the latest Industrial IoT technology with a view to delivering a clear, ‘end to end’ solution for our industrial, utilities and facilities management clients. Our pursuit for wirelessly connected devices and a cloud based back end platform led us to partner with Urban.io; an innovative tech company who aligned perfectly with our own company ethos.

Our Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Solution

Our niche lies in LEGACY assets and assets difficult to reach or remotely situated.  Our solutions are scalable, intuitive and very cost efficient with volume (over 1,000 sensors) and we offer trials to prove value and ease of use.

That said, we have always been innovators; rising to challenges presented and solving trickier remote monitoring needs as a result (UK CASE STUDIES OVERVIEW).

The basic premise is that Industrial grade IoT sensors are placed in or on industrial building assets, in spaces and in other remote field assets; delivering near real time data through a dashboard style website application.

We get data from things or sensors that monitor:

  • Critical assets – Things that are critical to operation or production
  • Remote assets – Things that are difficult to access
  • Exposed assets – Things that are exposed to harsh environmental conditions
  • Unconnected assets – Things that are not connected to a central control system
  • Legacy – Things that are old or positioned in an old structure
  • Disparate – Things that are scattered over a wide geographical area

A total solution

We offer a turnkey managed service with proven ROI and the total data security of an 128-bit encrypted infrastructure.  From a users’ perspective, the clear dashboard indicators are complemented by 3D technology, making it easy to pinpoint the asset’s location.  We have clients who genuinely find using our system a great pleasure, taking the chore out of the responsibility and making the job just so much easier to do.

Typically, clients are looking for solutions to four problems:

  • How do I save costs by removing repetitive maintenance tasks?
  • How can I save downtime (and costs) by improving breakdown response time?
  • How can I identify abnormal usage and activities within my building (and therefore save costs)?
  • How can I monitor assets, critical or otherwise, in hard to reach, remote places?
